Biblical Hermeneutics (Interpretation I) refers to the method (s) of interpreting scriptures. This course is designed to introduce the student to some basic principles and techniques of interpreting scriptures. The textbook introduces six methods of study which will lead the student to a more accurate interpretation of biblical text. Level one will cover three of these steps.

This course introduces the disciplines of systemic theology and demonstrates how Christian theology has come to synchronize its beliefs with other religions in its environment. This course will acquaint students with major world religions, cults and emerging religious thought and develop a theological comparison between their belief systems and orthodox Christian doctrine.

This course is a progression of the discipline of biblical interpretation. Attention is given to how people read the Bible and the implications of different ways of reading further using the inductive method of hermeneutical/exegetical practice. The importance of context and the significance of literary genre for interpretation are studied.

This course provides an overview of the missionary outreach of the New Testament Church and analyzes methods, strategies, and challenges unique to evangelism in a multicultural setting. It also introduces s personal development of Christian evangelism with a particular view to doing evangelism and missions to effectively accomplish successful missions
