The Bible Enrichment School of Theology (B.E.S.T) offers a comprehensive program of academic instruction. It is designed to teach the basic foundational truths within a structure that keeps students on track toward achieving their education goals. Our purpose is to develop the knowledge base and leadership skills of pastors, staff, and other leaders in the local church so that men and women are better equipped to balance Christian education with their professional and private lives.
August 19, 2019 Essay vs. Response Paper: In this course students will learn the difference between writing an essay and response paper. Additionally, the basics of grammar such as paragraph structure, sentence writing, nouns, and verb usage will be addressed. Formatting footnotes and title pages are important to understand and apply to writing.
August 26, 2019 Research Writing Skills: In this important course each student will learn how to document their work. This instruction includes learning the basics of bibliographies, detailed instructions for footnoting and page set-up for presentation.
September 9, 2019 Biblical Hermeneutics (Interpretation I) refers to the method (s) of interpreting scriptures. This course is designed to introduce the student to some basic principles and techniques of interpreting scriptures. The textbook introduces six methods of study which will lead the student to a more accurate interpretation of biblical text. Level one will cover three of these steps.
